The Onoto Foundation

Onoto Foundation
One of the prime objectives for The Onoto Pen Company is to promote the essentials of good writing and to encourage youngsters to enjoy the art of writing with pen and ink. We will achieve this through The Onoto Foundation working with partners with the same interest and the academic community at large.

Funding Of The Foundation
Each year, The Onoto Pen Company intends to make charitable gifts from pre-tax profits to The Onoto Foundation. The Foundation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales (Registration Number 1106920).

Funding Priorities Of The Foundation
The Foundation's object is to direct funds to the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, to provide awards in the form of studentships, bursaries, prizes and other forms of support considered appropriate to the Trustees. Such awards are to be given by the University to full or part-time students registered at the University in the subject area of creative writing and the subject area of entrepreneurship.

The Foundation is unlikely to make any significant awards directly to students at the University. However the Trustees may at their discretion consider applications for minor awards.
